Prairies Online Registration Walks

These walks, for which the Prairies and Northern Director is responsible, require online registration- there is no walk box. The registration process requires some preplanning and applies to these walks only.

  1. Click here to download, print and sign a waiver/registration form (one for each person in your group.)
  2. Click below on the route and distance you want in order to download and print the walk instructions and maps. Please note: By downloading these instructions you and all members of your group are agreeing to our terms, which include signing our waiver before you start your walk.

  3. Do the walk.
  4. Mail the signed waiver/registration form to Michele Bell, Suite 604, 251 Bank Street, Ottawa ON K2P1X3 and enclose a cheque or money order payable to CVF ($2 per person, per walk.) Digital insert cards and stamps will be emailed to you.

Neepawa PT378
START POINT: 312 First Avenue, Neepawa MB R0J 1H0  
This walk passes Margaret Laurence’s house. Margaret is the author of such works as The Stone Angel. She was a founder of the Writer’s Trust of Canada.

START POINT:  375 Deschambault Street, Winnipeg MB R2H 0J9
This walk starts and ends at the Gabrielle Roy house. Gabrielle Roy, a 3-time winner of the Governor General’s Medal for literature. The walk also passes Louis Riel’s gravesite.

Saskatoon is a thriving city graced with the vibrant beauty of nature. Divided by the winding South Saskatchewan River, Saskatoon’s east and west face are joined by a series of bridges and lined with several kilometers of trails.
