Northern Lights Walking Club is thrilled to be hosting the Canada’s Walking Club Festival in Yellowknife June 12-14, 2026.
You will have access to the Hotel booking options as well as the festival hotel rates and inclusions.
The cost for this great event will be $105.00 including the Meet and Greet, 7 walks and the festival fee. You will also have the option of adding the banquet (max 350 attendees) for a total of $180.00.

Festival national de Yellowknife 2026. Les inscriptions ouvriront
Le Northern Lights Walking Club est ravi d’organiser le Festival du Club de marche du Canada à Yellowknife du 12 au 14 juin 2026.
Vous aurez alors accès aux options de réservation d’hôtel ainsi qu’aux tarifs et inclusions des hôtels du festival.
Le coût de ce grand événement sera de 105,00 $ incluant l’accueil et rencontre, 7 promenades et les frais du festival. Vous aurez également la possibilité d’ajouter le banquet (max 350 participants) pour un total de 180,00$.
Voici les options pour participer au festival :

3. circuits en autobus. L’inscription au bus est maintenant terminée.
Quatre circuits en autobus sont organisés par Volkssport Association of Alberta – voir leur annonce ci-bas. Veuillez prendre note que les circuits en bus auront uniquement des guides anglophones.
Pourquoi venir à Yellowknife !

2. Ajoutez une étiquette à un des programmes suivants ou une à tous les programmes : Marches Canada A-Z ; Coupe Volkssport Canada ; Villes capitales ; ainsi que les Festivals.

Registration for the 2026 National Festival is OPEN.
Note: if you registered for one of the Bus Tours you do not need to register for the Festival. The Bus Tour registration includes the Festival Registration.

All 4 buses to and from Yellowknife were sold out within 30 minutes of opening. In addition, there are 60 people on the waiting list. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please email Gerry Vercammen at gerryipa@telus.net and he will send you a link to get added to the waitlist.

These walks are all in Yellowknife and can be done at any time by any attendees, except the Cameron Falls Walk.
The walks all start at the Chateau Nova except the Range Lake 5km route. If you plan to do this walk you will need the bus to take you to the start point, this walk ends at the Chateau Nova.
Festival Banquet will be held on Sunday, June 14
Important information for those on Bus Tour
Bus 1 – Departs St Albert Inn and Suites, 156 St Albert Trail at 8am on June 8. The bus arrives in Yellowknife on June 11 – fly home on June 15
Bus 2 – Departs Best Western Plus, Edmonton Airport Hotel, Leduc AB at 8am on June 9. The bus arrives in Yellowknife on June 12 – fly home on June 16
Bus 3 –Fly to Yellowknife on June 11. Tour departs Yellowknife on June 15 & ends in St Albert & Leduc on June 18
Bus 4 –Fly to Yellowknife on June 12. Tour departs Yellowknife on June 16 & ends in St Albert & Leduc on June 19
